There are times when you miss people you do not even know. It sounds strange, but happened with me. On my way to the office, I see a girl coming from the opposite direction. There is something special about her attire. She covers her face with a scarf. What it means is that if one day she passes by without wearing the scarf I might not even recognize her. Usually my friend also comes with me. I drop him to his office, on the way. This was the our daily schedule. We used to discuss about her. My friend, claims to have seen her even without the scarf.
For quite some time, I don’t find her on my way to the office. I just wonder what has happened? Is she married? Or has she changed her office? God knows !! But I still wait for her to pass by and hope that she will return one day.

The Omnipresents
They say God is everywhere. But I found something even greater, which is everywhere at the same time, they are omnipresent: Periplaneta americana i.e. The Cockroach. In your food, in the clothes, bathroom, vegetables, utensils etc. They are present even in your bag and jump on your face when you open it in the office ! ehhhh ...
There are 4000 species found on earth and they can survive without food for 3 long months !! damn .. how could He be so partial to us :(
You want to get rid of them. Ha Ha ... !! It's not a child's play. I am literally in a combat with them every evening. Still, you know who wins :( :( Weapns? you name it and I have used it .. Chappal, Jhadoo, Hit, Mortein, Baygon and whatever was available in the market.
Still, I am not going to give up ... and someday I would live in a cockroach-free house !!

Writing
It has been quite some time I started reading. No, I am not talking about reading the school books which we read to escape a scolding from the teachers and maintain a sincere image to the parents. Whereras I want to mention about reading books which fall under the category of 'time pass'. But more than helping in passing the time what they give you is the perspective. And a good writer according to me is the one who narrates in simple language but leaves an impact on the reader.
But why I am writing this today is after getting a feeling of shame when I read a small piece of essay written by an amatuer writer. It was surely his first one. The ludicrous repeatition of words, half baked ideas and raw language made it awful. Today, I knew it might have taken a whole lot of pactice to those greate authors whom I admire so much, to reach at this stage in their writing. For some, it may come by birth. But others need practice. I think, I am one of the latter ones. And I cherish a dream to be one of those great ones. In case, you are still wondering, the disastrous peace of literature was written by me only. And I indent to take a lesson from it.

The short afternoon walks
It all started with keeping a fit tummy. But it has now become a ritual to go for a walk after lunch or dinner. Though, I dont often get anyone to accompany me in the afternoon. But I am not alone. How could I be? In those crowded streets around Richmond Circle. Though people say, what's the use of roaming around aimlessly in those crowded places full of traffic noise and pollution. But I somehow seem to enjoy it. I think, I like observing people doing there daily routing work. A pan-shop near the corner of Woodlands Hotel. A nurse from the Mallya Hospital talking to someone stealthily at another place. A beggar woman with a coupld of year old kid. A road-side restaurant guy busy surving to various labourers probably working in the upcoming ITC hotel at the Vittal Mallya road. Sometimes, I even go the Richmond Road towards the Baldwin Girls College. Alas, my time does not match with the time of the college.
